Cowen’s Lisbon Downfall: 50,800 views

July 7th, 2008 · 3 Comments

This video is still rockin the free world. At what point does it cease to be a story for the entertainment pages?

***NOTE TO BROADCAST PRODUCERS/NEWS EDS: 50k is a nice round number. Looks good in a headline. By comparison, Fianna Fail’s turgid Lisbon vid has around 8,000 views. I’m just saying. If you’re looking for an excuse.***

I claim no credit - missed that today. Any chance you’d grab a piccy of the piece and post it?

I will if I can work out how to operate a scanner!
Basically, it was a crawler article along the top of an inside page, in the middle of the paper, complete with screen grabs of four or five images from the movie, subtitled with the Cowen/Cabinet gags.
