Richard Delevan is a journalist, speaker and native New Yorker living in County Wicklow, Ireland.
He blogs about the US presidential election campaign for the Daily Telegraph on Mick Fealty’s Brassneck.
His fortnightly column in Ireland’s premier business magazine Business & Finance focuses on technology and ideas. He’s also a frequent contributor on Irish radio and television as well as in other print publications.
Delevan wrote a weekly column in the Sunday Tribune from 2005-2007 and served as Business Editor from 2006 to 2007. Under his leadership the Tribune business section was first among Irish national newspapers to focus on the unfolding subprime crisis and resulting credit crunch and Ireland’s role in it, Web 2.0 and issues around business responses to threats and opportunities from climate change. He also penned a sharp-tongued marketing column, Publius. He interviewed many of Ireland’s top business leaders as well as a host of leading experts in business, finance, technology and media.
He has also written for the Sunday Business Post, Irish Independent, the Irish Times and the Evening Herald.
Delevan regularly comments on Irish and international business, US foreign policy and politics, media and the impact of technology on business and society.
